It is good to be too positive to be doubtful, too optimistic to be fearful, and too determined to be defeated  ✌

Whatever it is that you’re doing, whoever it is that you’re talking to; stop. 

Put everything down. Clear your head of anything that you’re worrying about or stressing over. Just stop everything you are doing and close your eyes. 

Take a deep breath. Breathe. You are alive. You are living. You are on this earth. You can enjoy the sound of the waves, the touch of a cool breeze, the sound of the birds, the taste of fresh fruit. 

You can enjoy life. Why? Because you have one. 

Now open your eyes and look around you. Look at all of the beautiful things this world has to offer. 

Now take another deep breath. Why? Because you can.
You are alive. You are beautiful. You are loved.

I'm Nicole and welcome to my blog. My past couple of months have been rocky; I suffer from severe anxiety (panic disorder with agoraphobia) and manic depressive disorder. I've experienced anti depressants (Elavil) and anti anxiety medications (Zoloft and Lexapro) which did not work out so much for me. I have decided to take the natural, holistic remedy routes.

I've been wondering what happiness is and how I can find it. I'm focusing on my mental health and emotional stability, as well as, improving my physical health with fitness and nutrition. Trying to figure out this whole "life" thing is complicated and finding yourself is just as difficult. However, everyday is a step closer to your happiness. People say, "you can not help being sad, but you can help being miserable"; I'm trying to use my "distraction is key" thinking by doing things for the better and improving my life in all these ways. A better well- being and wealthy mind can capture greater moments in replacement of the tragedies.

"Sometimes you need to remind yourself that you were the one who carried you through the heartache. You are the one who sits with the cold body on the shower floor, and picks it up. You are the one who feeds it, who clothes it, who tucks it into bed, and you should be proud of that. Having the strength to take care of yourself when everyone around you is trying to bleed you dry, that is the strongest thing in the universe."
